IBM 5160 ATX clone

What is it?

This is my own design of a clone of the well known IBM 5160 PC/XT but using an ATX board as base. Main reason: PC cases that can hold an ATX board can be bought every where. Ones that can hold a XT board not.

State: Schematics and board.

DISCLAIMER

This design is based on various designs I found in manuals that I found on internet and in paper versions I have my self. There is no real PCB yet so I haven't be able to test anything at all.

The design

The design of this board is based on the one of IBM5160 PC/XT clone. So any detail about the schematic can be found here.
There are two main differences:
- instead of eight 8-bit ISA slots it has six plus two 16-bit ones. Main reason: to support 16-bit cards that can run in 8-bit mode as weel.
- it has a circuit on board to power on and off an ATX power supply.

Remark: if you find differences in the IC/U codes for the ICs, I have renamed the codes to match the original IBM schematic as good as possible. But I did that after creating this schematic.
