SBC

What is it?

In short, this is a list of all Single-Board-Computers I designed or worked with. The Commodore KIM-1 and the MicroProfessor are real SBCs. But I consider boards that need an external terminal as SBCs too. This include my "in-PC" designs as well.

List

1802

6502 / 65816
De 6502 is most well known for its use in the various first Commodore, Apple and Atari computers. Well known descendants are the 6510, a href=" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commodore_64" target="_blank"> Commodore 64, and its 16-bit version, the 65816, Apple IIGS.
  • 6502-in-PC
In short it is an ISA card with a small 6502 based system that should be capable of running CBM 8032's BASIC 4.0 and is fitted inside a PC with a free ISA slot. It is an expansion of 8032-in-PC with a lot more ROM, RAM and a MMU to manage it all.
  • 65816-in-PC
In short it is an ISA card with a small 65816 based system that should be capable of running CBM 8032's BASIC 4.0 and is fitted inside a PC with a free ISA slot.
  • 8032-in-PC
In short it is an ISA card with a small 6502 based system that should be capable of running CBM 8032's BASIC 4.0 and is fitted inside a PC with a free ISA slot.
  • KIM-1
Everything I know about the KIM-1 incl. schematics and source codes of the Kernal.
  • Build your own KIM-1
Build your own KIM-1, Commodores first computer
  • The Eurocom6502
Several boards based on the 6502.
  • The Eurocom65816
A boards based on the 658516.

6800 / 6809
  • Eurocom-I and descendants
Eltec's Eurocom-I is a 6802 based SBC like the KIM-1 or MicroProfessor. I created a new version plus some with different processors.
  • MicroKit09
A rebuild of a from origin French 6809 SBC.

8052 / 80552

8085

80x86
  • Mini-80188
A very small computer with as main components an 80188, 832 KB of SRAM, 128 KB of FlashRAM, a 16540 UART as its only I/O IC and one 8-bits ISA slot for expansion.
  • Mini-V20
A very small computer with as main components an 8088 or NEC V20 in minimum mode as CPU, 512 KB of SRAM, 128 KB of FlashRAM, a 16540 UART as its only I/O IC and one 8-bits ISA slot for expansion.

SC/MP
  • The EurocomSC/MP
A board based on the National Semiconductor INS8060B, also known as SC/MP.

TMS7000

Z80
  • CP/M 3.0 for the PC
In short it is an ISA card with a small Z80 based system that should be capable of running CP/M 3.0 and is fitted inside a PC with a free ISA slot.
  • The EurocomZ80
A board based on the Zilog Z80.
  • MicroProfessor aka MPF 1B/1P
This SBC hasn't its own page yet for the simple reason it is not my design. "Yet" because that is going to change. I created my Z80 assembler and disassembler because of the MPF and not because of the Z80 inside the Commodore 128.
